A beautifully preserved Frank Herschede sterling silver berry/casserole spoon with a gilded bowl. Excellent condition. It has been stored in a safe for the past half century. We have been unable to identify the pattern. The bowl is scallop edged with flourishes near the top. The handle has detailing from top to bottom, wrapping around to the back.
Frank Herschede was a famous Cincinnati clock maker who branched out into sterling silver flatware patterns.
