A fantastic 1930’s genuine purple velvet hat with an elegant plum purple satin bow band. Excellent condition with no significant signs of wear, damage or stains. the hat has a sem-firm mesh lining and a wire-lined brim that can be adjusted up and down. The top can be pushed up to reveal the knotted design you see in the first photo, or pushed down for a shorter The folded-knot design is open in the center and the satin band loosely covers the mesh, allowing for airflow. Note that the colors in this hat are extremely difficult to show digitally. The body of the hat looks more purple when put against something blue. Against another color, it might look closer to a deep blue. The bow is a muted plum that looks brighter in sunlight. We have tried to show the color with different angles and levels of brightness.
