A stunning 1930 32nd degree Master Mason Scottish Rite ring with a .52 carat diamond set in solid 14k white gold. We’ve looked at a lot of 32nd degree rings as we researched this piece and have yet to find another like it. The double eagle is raised with a black enamel rising sun behind it. You can see the rays through and around the cut-out sections of the eagle.
Each side has additional enameling in black lettering inside a white framed triangle. One side has the number 32, the other is the 10th Hebrew letter, Yod. All center and upper side enameling is intact and in remarkable condition for a ring that is almost 90 years old. The enamel and design on the lower sides of the ring were likely customized to represent the original owner but both sides are now quite worn and indecipherable. This could be buffed out if desired. The inside is engraved “3-25-30, H.D. Hotlel” and stamped 14K.
