Cut, Diamond

One of the 4 “C’s” of diamond grading, cut refers to the quality of the faceting on a standard round gemstone. Cut is graded based on proportions of the stone, the quality of the faceting, and the number of facets. Brilliant cut, round stones are the standard for grading, but other shapes are also graded.
